Some Favorites & Flops- Bath Time Products - Beauty Monday

Favorites:
I know I know... I have kind of fell off the wagon of positing daily blogs. Although, I am pretty sure I have a pretty awesome one for you today that will knock your socks off and scare you out of your seat. LOL well probably not... But should be pretty freaking awesome. Just you wait and see. Today we are talking about bath time goodies that you like to use when in the bath or shower. Some in which I found that I didn't like at all and some I have been using for years and years.

This is one of my tried and true body washes. I have used and found so many body washes but this one is by far my favorite. The Olay Ultra Moisture with Shae Butter. This stuff just never gets old and always works like a charm. Many other body washes I have found irritate my skin. I will get out feeling really super itchy all over my body.  This one the scent is mild and the amount of moisturizer that is in this bottle of body wash is awesome. I love the way this body wash makes me feel. Leaving me clean and smelling awesome. This has to be my all time favorite go to!

Yes, Another Olay product... Another body wash. So recently my local target was out of the original Olay Moisture body wash was out of stock so I tried this one. I was honestly surprised I thought I wasn't going to like this one as much as my favorite one... I have been using this just over 2 weeks and I have to admit... I love this one as well... I love the smell it is light and refreshing... and the exfoliating needs are not so harsh that they hurt and body wash it self is creamy and moisturizing as well. I love this stuff... I will definitely be buying this one again.

Alright, I am coming to find out that I may or may not be attracted to Olay products. LOL I bought the Olay Fresh Effects Bead Me Up Exfoliating Cleaner the same time I bought the Olay exfoliating body wash. I really can't say enough good things about this face wash. I put this on my face for the first time, and the first thing I noticed was the smell. Oh my goodness the smell of this cleanser is simply beautiful and soft smelling. Then I noticed the small bursting little beads that run through this cleanser. It feels so invigorating. This will definitely be a re-purchase for me.  I guess you can say I am pretty much tried and true with a lot of Olay products. They are just so awesome.

So I have used this body oil since I was a teenage. My mom uses this religiously especially to shave my legs.  I don't really like shaving cream and I find this allows me to shave really close to my leg and allows my legs to be super smooth and moisturized. This will always be apart of my bath time ritual and a huge staple of my bath time products.

These daily cleansing pads are seriously awesome. I have only used them a few times since I have gotten them. I didn't find that I needed to use these daily as the exfoliating side really scrubs your face really good. Of the times I have used this product I have loved the results afterwards. This product left my face feeling super clean and extremely soft. Fallowed by my Olay Fresh Effect Cleanser make the perfect pair. They work perfect together. :) This will definitely be a repurchase.

The Up & Up Deep Cleanser is one of my husbands favorite facial scrubs. He is quite oily and he feels that this cleanser keeps the oils away for quite some time through out the day. I will use this one too from time to time during that fabulous time of the month when I tend to get more break outs. I feel like it really drys out those pesky pimples you get during that time of the month. My husband and I both have been using this product for quite some time and has been a repurchase for our family and probably will continue to be. We love this product. I also use the Up & Up Make-Up Remover wipes. They are simply amazing!

I can't say enough about the Dove Damage Therapy Daily Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for a while now. I have found this shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair feeling really soft. I have PCOS and I loose a lot of hair when I wash my hair. After using this shampoo and conditioner my hair doesn't fall out near as much. I also suffer with seriously tangly hair. I have a hard time getting my brush to go through my hair. After using the Daily Moisture Conditioner my brush goes right through my hair with no problems. I am going to be using this shampoo and conditioner for sometime to come. :)

FLOPS

Alright let me start of by saying I still have a very full container of this CRAP in my bathroom. I will NEVER use this stuff again. This made my head so itchy that I literally had to get back in the shower and rewash my hair . It not only made my head itchy but entire body itched as well... I will never put this stuff on my head again... NEVER AGAIN!

This was about the same as the stuff above. I won't be buying this one again either. I don't really like TRESemme product... I have found that I don't react well to these products. Wont be purchasing this again either.

YUCK YUCK YUCK... Omg I don't like this stuff not one bit. I bought this thinking it smelled good. I should have known better and just stuck with my Olay stuff... I got it home and used it... and it literally felt like it was burning my skin. I didn't like this product at all. I will not be repurchasing... LOL As a matter of fact this got thrown away right after I used it.

Well Guys, I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week. I hope you enjoy this awesome new blog post.

Table Making... It Was An Interesting Day!

I should just start to call this portion of the blog "Palette Saturdays." LOL so as many of you already know,my husband and I have moved in to our new home. We have been with out a kitchen table for quite some time now. I just honestly haven't found anything that I have really liked enough to buy. Not to mention tables are not cheap. LOL Whats a table with out chairs? Thats another small fortune to add on to the table cost. Its quite the investment and not that we have a problem with that because we don't I just honestly haven't found anything that I like enough to purchase as I said before.

So before I go in to what we have decided to do. Before when I lived at my old house I loved all the dark furniture and black frames around the house. I thought it looked classic and rich. Well my taste have started to change. Especially since I have actually moved in to my new house. I have really loved the shabby chic look in homes. I am loving the clean and white look. I just think it makes the house look big and bright. So keep that in mind when I explain to you what we have decided to do as a table.

As far as our table goes we have decided to MAKE (Yes, as in construct) our own wooden table. We are making a palette table. You know those huge wooden table like things that are used for large shipment of goods for companies. For the last few weekends my husband and I have gone out looking for good palettes. Josh finds palettes that are the perfect thickness and that haven't been broken. We then come home and disassemble the palette and take all the nails out and use the wood to construct our table.

We have not finished our table as of yet. However, it is coming alone. We finally went and picked out our stain for the wood. We are going to be staining it a pretty white. Once it is done I will for sure post a picture of our beauty. We are going to be making long benches instead of actual chairs. We will buy two chairs for the ends of the table. It's going to look amazing! I can't wait for it to be done and complete my house!!!

Well hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday evening. Leave comments in the bottom and let me know what you think... Also if you have made a palette table show some pictures of your creations. I would love to see what you all have created. :)

Heaven Is For Angels...

Today's blog post isn't going to be pertaining anything blog related this evening. Today has been a bitter sweet day. This early morning heaven received a beautiful angel. My Aunt Nancy passed this early morning. She battled a long hard battle and was so strong for so long. Today, she is finally free of pain and suffering. This is such a bitter sweet loss for my family and I. She fought so hard for so long to hang on and now she is completely pain free of everything. We never hope to loose someone we love and cherish our whole lives. However, its the hardest thing to watch the ones you love struggle being sick day in and day out and watching her quality of life diminish as the days go on.

So instead of mourning the loss of this incredibly selfless, beautiful, and amazing woman. We are going to celebrate her. My aunt  was one of the strongest women I have ever met in my entire life. She was truly remarkable. From the early age of 25 my aunt was in a horrible tobogganing accident. Where she broke her back and left her paralyzed from the waist down. Do you think not walking was an option for her? Of course not! You know that girl was up and walking . It was a long road but she did it. So proving that she could struggle through and fight her way through this traumatic injury. She could do anything.

This woman tackled just about anything. No matter how hard the struggle was or what complications came along. She did it with a smile on her face. A beautiful smile at that.

My Aunt was the kindest, sweetest, and most loyal person. She was the proudest aunt in the whole wide world. She loved watching my brother and I grow up. She loved spending time with us. Always spoiling my brother and I beyond words. Completely selfless. She never failed us and always letting us know she was there for us no matter what.

A year ago October 12, 2013 I married my best friend in the whole wide world. Unfortunately, due to her illness she wasn't able to make it. Josh and I went to see her a bunch in the weeks leading up to our wedding. I remember snuggling her while she cried because she was so devastated that she couldn't come to my wedding. I told her that the #1 reason I got a videographer was for the soul purpose so that she could see every single special moment just as though she had been there. I promised her that she would be the first one to see the video. I held on to my promise and as soon as I got the video Josh and I went straight down to the hospital and she watched the entire thing. With tears of joy and happiness she watched every second of the video and loved every single minute of it.

The way this woman impacted and loved every single person in her life was just incredible. She will forever live on in all our hearts and our memories. In just 12 days my husband and I will be celebrating our first Anniversary. As we celebrate our special day she will be right there with us just as she was the day we said I do  and celebrating the beautiful life of my Aunt Nancy.

A Message from Your Niece:

Aunt Nancy, my heart is broken because your gone. I look back at recent text messages and have re-read all of them as far back as they could go. I have gone on your Facebook and stared at every single one of your pictures and re-read your comments. I wish I would have had one more chance to say good bye. I wish I could have had one more moment with you. Please watch over us from heaven. For once aunt Nancy rest peacefully my sweet Auntie. I love you!! XOXO

MIA Much...

Hey Everyone... I know it has been a quick minute since I have actually sat down and wrote one of these things. I know that I have dropped the ball quite a bit for a while since my last blog post. I assure you it has been all for good reason. Let me start out by saying Hello. Hope everyone is doing well. I have missed being away from my blog for soooo long. I have so much to say and so much I want to tell you all.

So let's just address the white elephant in the room. :) Where have I been? Well for the past month I have been moving in to my new home. I made a post about my husband and I making a pretty large move to another city about 45 minutes away from where we lived prior. Well moving isn't easy. I have been getting my home set up and organizing everything to get in good order. It has been a little over a month since my last post. I know I have majorly dropped the ball on posting regularly but I assure you that there will be new content really soon. I intend on getting back on track with posting more regular blog posts really soon. For the most part I have gotten my life out of boxes and things are starting to come together. We haven't really gotten things on the walls hung yet. So that is a work in progress. I still need a kitchen table... That has been a work in progress as well. I just haven't found anything that just strikes my fancy to actually purchase and put in my home. Dilemma's  I tell you!

You know when you move in to a new house you want a new look for your new place. I have kind of been stuck on this young look for a while and slowly but surely been replacing our young looking furniture with more updated mature adult look. I have really been liking the rustic chic look. So I am thinking I am going to be taking my coffee table and end tables and redoing them and staining them a white color. I love the fresh clean white look. Makes the house look so open.

Anyways, I have been really enjoy putting my new house together.

Also, my husband and I are actively trying to have a baby. I found out last spring that I have PCOS. Which is Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. For those of you who are not familiar; that's when you have cysts on your ovaries. Which in turn cause your period to not be regular and causes your body to have insulin resistance. Its been really difficult treating this. I have had to change my whole diet and way of living to lessen the symptoms of PCOS. Been a major work in progress. Tons of struggles every single day and I feel like I have a new symptom every single day. HAHA. With all that said, Josh and I have been trying to have a baby. Which in turn can make it very difficult to try to conceive. So it has taken us some time. Patients are a virtue all in which I don't have by the way. I like that instant gratification if you know what I mean. Just make it stick already!HAHAH!

For those of you who struggle with PCOS your self and are interested in fallowing my trying to conceive journey with PCOS. I have started a blog on trying to conceive with PCOS. There you can read all trials and struggles we have been through to get our little precious here and in our arms. I know there are women who are struggling and going through the same issues as my husband and I . Please come and join us http://tryingtoconceivewithpcos.blogspot.com and read all the fun stuff we have to deal with on a regular basis. :)

Whats to come... Well as some of you may or may not know my love for crafts and arts is something I love all too much. I love being able to share a recipe I made or a DIY project that I did and loved. So I started yet another blog for all my fun crafts and recipes that I enjoy posting. I am not going to be as regular on that blog as I am on the Beauty Blog or the PCOS blog. I will however be posting tons of fun cute projects you can do and awesome recipes me and my family have grown to love. Please go and check it out. http://obsessedcrafting.blogspot.com The blog isn't complete yet and hasn't been finished. its a work in progress. I will be posting one of my newest projects and recipes that we just recently did, soon. :)

Well guys, I hope this is a decent explanation of where I have been and what I have been doing for those of you who have been wondering. I can't wait to get things started again. :) Will be back soon! XOXO Thanks for all your love and support!
